The Fidella Fusion 2.0 or Fidella Toddler is an ergonomic and evolving baby carrier made of 100% organic cotton sling fabric.

Why is Fidella Fusion Toddler suitable from 3 months of age?

As babywearing consultants, we base our weight and age range recommendations on our experience advising families.

Therefore, we know that by reducing the panel width to its maximum point (without the belt of the carrier lifting) and to the maximum height, we can usually achieve an optimal carrying position with 3-month-old babies (in the middle percentiles): seated with the panel from knee to knee, and in height up to the neck.

If my baby is older than 3 months, is it advisable to choose Fidella Fusion Toddler?

If your baby is in the middle percentiles of weight and height, we recommend choosing the Fidella Fusion Toddler as it will give you a wider range of use. On the other hand, in the case of premature or underweight babies, the Fidella Baby will allow us to close the panel more.

When can I carry my baby with the Fidella back carrier?

We recommend waiting until the baby is sitting up on his own, as this will make it easier for us to carry him on the back.

It is most common to back carry them when they are walking, although we can do it earlier if our baby asks for it.

Keep in mind that carrying the baby in front allows us to establish visual contact with the baby. On the contrary, in the back carrying position the baby is more entertained, and we can have our hands free to do many daily tasks.

The back carry allows a more comfortable distribution of weight across the carrier's body, so it is the most recommended for carrying large babies for long periods of time.

It is also important to take into account the height of the carrier: if the baby limits our field of vision when we carry him/her in front, it is advisable to carry him/her on the back.
